MP3 Player - Samsung T10

E-mail Print PDF

Samsung T10 MP3 Player - pictureI never thought I would buy myself an MP3 player; however, I was shopping at a Best Buy while in Austin (what a better way to pass time) and noticed they had the Samsung T10 4GB on clearance for $40. I read the box and noticed that it has some features not available on other MP3 Players: Bluetooth, FM Radio, Voice Recording. So, I bought one.

After taking it back to the hotel and playing around with it, I fell in love with this device. It has a very good quality in a small package. I loaded up some music that I had on my computer and a couple of movies (so it was only Word World...still a movie). I was surprised at the video quality...way better than my BlackBerry Curve.

A couple of days later, I noticed on Samsung's website a firmware update for the device. After installing the firmware, I was presented with some games and even maps of popular subway systems around the world! I also found that after the firmware upgrade I could connect the device to my cell phone. I thought this would be neat to transfer some music and movies from my BlackBerry. Was I surprised to learn that I could control my cell phone via the T10!!  If the phone rings while listening to music, it will pause and present you with the option to answer the phone. A thought passed my mind, "what is it using for a mic?" Then I remembered that it had a built-in microphone for the voice recording. I thought this was a neat feature for an MP3 player. You can even dial your phone from the device.

As one of my favorite Chefs says, "don't waste money on a one use device." So, I feel I got my monies worth on this one.

RSS Feeds

E-mail Print PDF

RSS Feeds LogoRSS (Really Simple Syndication) Feeds provides summaries of web content in a simple format. It is available through an RSS feed reader, or through some browsers. It will show you what’s new since the last time you checked the feed, without having to visit the website itself. You can keep up with new photos uploaded via RSS feeds instead of having to visit the website everyday to see if we posted anything new. On the right-hand side of the gallery page you are looking at, you will see a link that says "RSS Feed for this Album". Right-click on this link and choose Copy Shortcut. You will then use this shortcut in your RSS Feed Reader or save it as a Live Bookmark in FireFox.

The best stand-alone RSS Feed Reader I found is called GreatNews. If you use Outlook 2007, it has a built-in RSS Feed Reader as well. If you have any questions feel free to send me an email.

The photo albums are open! Click on the Photo Album link at the top-right or click on either Jadyn or Genesis' name and choose their gallery. If you are not logged in, you will be taken to the login page. After you successfully login, you will need to then re-click on your initial choice. Sorry for the inconvenience, but the only suggestion I have at the moment is to login when you first get here then you won't have to worry about it! Smile Add a comment
